Now available: Immer Reading System SDK v1.0 for reading platforms

This summer, we released v1.0 of our Reading Experience SDK, the software development kit at the heart of the Immer Reading System. With this SDK, any app developer can enrich their reading app with the world’s best reading experience.

This first version features Smart Portions (including context markers), Immersive Styling (including themed background layers) and Group Reading (including social notes), among other things.

Apps built with the SDK get served portioned pages of books from Immer’s back-end systems, which analyze both book content and reading behavior, making for a complete reading solution that is flexible and secure.

We’ll be expanding on this SDK for years to come, but thanks to its powerful plugin architecture, others can build unique experiences and interactions on top of the Immer core as well.

v1.0 of the Reading Experience SDK was released quietly and privately to Immer’s first proper customer, which we’ll be able to reveal soon.
